RICHMOND REGION TOURISM FOUNDATION EVENTS

Support and celebrate our community and our mission

The Richmond Region Tourism Foundation is a 501(c)(3) entity organized to advance the impact and benefit of tourism on the Richmond Region by supporting and investing in local education, diversity and inclusion and sports tourism programs. Through the Foundation, we are able to award annual scholarships. The $1,000 scholarships are awarded at the Awards and Annual Meeting and is made possible through proceeds from the event. 

Financial support for the Foundation comes from the Foundation's Awards and Annual Meeting, BLK RVA Community Awards, RVA Sports Awards as well as individual and corporate contributions and gifts. Please consider attending or sponsoring any of the following foundation efforts.

RVA Sports Awards

This awards event recognizes the best of the region’s best. The RVA Sports Awards accepts nominations for outstanding local sports leaders, athletes and teams. All proceeds from the awards show benefit the RRT Foundation’s Sports Tourism Grant Program.

Tourism Awards & Annual Meeting

This annual event recognizes members of our local community who have gone above and beyond to support tourism in the region. Awards are given for sports, partnership, events, customer service, leadership and more. The event also recognizes the recipients of the Foundation's four annual scholarships.
